This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit RatedPizzas.com. The website is operated by:

1. Scope and applicable law

Diversico GmbH processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is also carried out under the GDPR.

2. Data collected when visiting the website

RatedPizzas currently has no user accounts, newsletter forms, advertising trackers or analytics service. It provides a business enquiry form for pizzeria owners. When the site is accessed, technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser information and referring page may nevertheless be processed in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the site, maintain security and investigate misuse.

The legal basis, where the GDPR applies, is the legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Hosting through GitHub Pages

The website is hosted using GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Technical access data may be processed by GitHub and transferred to or stored in the United States. GitHub’s own privacy information applies to its processing. Such processing is necessary to publish and secure this website.

4. Pizzeria enquiry form and Formspree

When you submit the pizzeria enquiry form, we process the information you provide, including the pizzeria name, city, country, contact name, business email, optional telephone or WhatsApp number, website or social profile, optional Google Maps link and message. The purpose is to assess availability, answer your request and, if you choose to proceed, prepare the requested commercial placement.

The form is transmitted through Formspree, a service provided by Formspree, Inc. Formspree acts as a service provider for form delivery and may process or store submission data in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on steps requested before entering a contract under Article 6(1)(b), and where applicable our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). Required fields are marked; optional information need not be supplied.

Form submissions are retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, manage any resulting business relationship, establish or defend claims, and comply with legal retention duties.

5. External links

RatedPizzas contains links to third-party services, including Google Maps and restaurant websites. No personal data is sent to those providers merely because a normal text link is displayed. Once you follow an external link, that provider processes data under its own privacy policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

RatedPizzas does not currently set its own non-essential cookies and does not use Google Analytics. See our Cookie Policy. If analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services are introduced later, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before they are activated where consent is required.

7. Retention

Diversico GmbH does not receive routine identifiable visitor records from the static website itself. Technical logs maintained by the hosting provider are retained according to the provider’s operational and security practices. Correspondence sent directly by email is retained only as long as needed to answer the request or meet legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to the competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to info@diversico.ch. We may need to verify your identity.

9. Security and changes

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but internet transmission cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. This policy may be updated when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
